Honey & Roots Mothercare

Holistic Doula Care, Rooted in Nature

Birth is not just a day — and postpartum is not just recovery. This is a transformation of body, identity, and rhythm, and you deserve to move through it feeling informed, nourished, and truly supported. Through Honey & Roots Mothercare, I offer holistic birth and postpartum doula care woven together with farm-grown herbal nourishment rooted in Ayurvedic tradition. Whether you're preparing for labor, navigating the tender weeks after birth, or both — I'm here to walk beside you, quietly and steadily, so you never have to do this alone.

A Different Kind of Support

A doula is a non-medical support person who walks alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I don't replace your midwife or OB — I support you within that system.

In practice, it becomes something much deeper. It's having someone who helps you understand your options without pressure, supports your choices without judgment, and stays with you — physically and emotionally — through it all.

  • Fewer interventions & lower cesarean rates
  • Shorter labors & higher breastfeeding success
  • More positive, empowered birth experiences

Research consistently shows that continuous doula support improves outcomes — but what those numbers can't capture is what it feels like to have someone fully in your corner.

We begin by building a relationship — because trust is everything in birth.

Before labor, we'll meet to talk through your hopes, fears, past experiences, and vision for this birth. We'll create a plan together, and more importantly, build the flexibility and confidence to move with whatever unfolds.

When labor begins, you won't be wondering what to do or who to call. I'll already be with you.

During labor, I provide:

  • Continuous physical and emotional support

  • Hands-on comfort (movement, positioning, hip squeezes, breathing)

  • Steady support for your partner so they feel confident and connected

  • A calm presence that helps your voice stay heard in the room

After your baby arrives, I stay through those first sacred hours — helping you settle in, initiate feeding if desired, and ease into this new space.

Farm Rooted Nourishment

My postpartum approach draws on Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese postpartum practices, herbal care, and my own experience as a doula and mother — blended with intuition, not a single tradition.

Nourishment starts with the farm. Whenever they're in season, meals are made with meat, eggs, vegetables, herbs, and berries raised right here at Honey & Stem Farm, alongside local and organic ingredients. Warm, restorative food; herbal teas and infusions; and nutrient-dense broths — all rooted in the belief that a mother heals best when she's truly nourished.

Every journey is different.
Here's how we can work together.

Postpartum care can be booked on its own — but I always recommend adding birth doula support whenever possible. When I've been with you through labor and birth, I already understand your story and what you've just been through. You don't have to start over telling it to me.

About Me

I'm a mother, a farmer, and a woman deeply rooted in the rhythms of nature.

My work is shaped not only by training, but by lived experience — supporting births, raising children, and tending to both land and life. Through my farm, I've developed a deep respect for nourishment, seasonality, and the way care can be woven into everyday moments. Through motherhood, I know firsthand how transformative — and at times overwhelming — this journey can be.

This work is my calling: to support women as they step into motherhood with confidence, care, and the kind of support that truly makes a difference.

Is This the Right Fit?

Birth is deeply personal. Inviting someone into your space — especially during labor and postpartum — is an intimate decision.

If this feels aligned, I would be honored to support you. If it doesn't, that's completely okay. You deserve care that feels like a full-body yes.

If you feel drawn to this work, I'd love to connect — talk through your vision and see if this feels right.
